Essential oil perfumes not only smell delightful, but they boast a host of aromatherapy benefits, ranging from reducing anxiety to combatting depression. And this Twin Peaks essential oil perfume does not disappoint on either counts.
The scent is a blend of Young Living oils, including Lavender, Stress Away, Ginger, Valor, Vetiver, and Idaho Balsam Fir. It's a variation on the widely popular Liquid Calm blend, with Ginger instead of Patchouli and the addition of Idaho Balsam Fir (you really can't go wrong with pine). The scent is deep, earthy, and woodsy—there is almost a dirt-like quality to it thanks to the Vetiver.
I named it Twin Peaks—my favorite TV series of all time—because I think the natural, rustic scent perfectly encapsulates the show's northern landscape and dark undertones.
To make this perfume, simply combine the essential oils in the recipe below with a carrier oil, such as jojoba oil, vitamin E oil, grapeseed oil, or olive oil, and give it a good shake—then it's ready to wear!
